This is a Smith & Wesson Target Masterpiece model 14-4 with a 6 inch barrel. 38 special K frame target gun. This is a "New in Box" gun that has never been fired, except for the test firing that may have been done at the factory. This gun is over 30 years old. They don't make like this anymore folks. The newer guns have no where near the nice smooth feel of these older ones. They changed the trigger group and the hammer group on the newer guns to lessen production costs. You just can't buy a new one like this anywhere anymore. This is new old stock. But the gun is in brand new condition. With the exception of the corners of the box, which have come unglued due to age. Not to say they you could not just re-glue them. It comes with the original box, papers, and even the tool kit.

Since you like to make up and enforce the "rules" around here, you should probably already be aware that "I'll take it" is the accepted method of buying something here, not "can you hold it, till I don't know when, in case I may or may not ever get the money".

Play by the rules, or shop elsewhere. (I suggest Craigslist, seems to be something you're familiar with).
