Last week I decided to spend way-to-much money on a 380 caliber Savage pistol and this is it. It will be a nice companion to my Model 1915 in 32 acp.
It ain't like it used to be but it'll do.

That is in real nice condition, congratulations!
That's how it starts, getting just one more to complement the one you have, next thing you know you want all 28 recognized types according to Baily Browers book.
Just ask me how I know.

I've got 14 of the 28 serialized versions in the book at this time and I'll probably keep buying the rest if I run accross them and the price is right.
I never had an interest in them at all until I got my first one that was basically thrown in as additional trade material.

Romac - 28 versions and you have 14 or them? I like these pistols but not that much.

I keep bumping into them at good prices. I do not have many other vices so this is a cheap hobby.

Heh Heh, I meant the 1907's and 1917's as side hobby to the other stuff.

Wow, I didn't think I'd want a 1917 until I saw that....
If you keep coming into them, I am looking for a WWI French contract pistol as well as now a 1917.
