I got a USED honda at a yard sale about 11 years ago and it's still going strong. A few oil changes, gas and keep the breather cleaned and blades sharpened. It looks as good as the day I bought it too. Check the craigs list in your area. http://nashville.craigslist.org/grd/1567362008.html

Honda!! I bought one last year after having a couple of Snapper's. Honda is a great mower, cuts better, bags better and runs better. Best mower I have ever used.

I've had two mowers with Honda engines. The first was an MTD with a Honda engine. It was a big POS. It was the hardest starting mower I've ever used. Sold that thing at a yard sale and bought a "real" Honda mower.
I've had the current mower for about 4 years. When its used weekly it starts on the first pull every time. When its used in the fall or winter and only gets started once a month,it takes two pulls
Honda also has a Xenoy deck. Its some kind of hi-tech plastic thats virtually indestructable. It'll never rust or corrode either.
The mower was almost $600 but it'll probably be the last mower I ever buy.

I havent owned one in years because Paco will do it for a case of bud and its well worth it when its 114 degrees. But I mowed my old mans yard with a big wheel cub cadet for many years with no problems when i was living at home.
