A rifle I purchased recently came with a Hilver base and rings. I was just wondering if there is any advantage/drawbacks to these over weaver style clamp rings?
Aussie Lad , a Hilver is an Australian mount based on the redfield system. They are as strong as the Redfield or Leupold jr mount . No advantages or drawbacks, They work well.
