Hope link works. Rifle is in well used condition but certainly an interesting addition to most collections.

It's in the 1903 (but not the 1905) as a grade B engraving with grade A checkering...$36.50

It looks more like an 1899-B with grade B checkering (style standard on the Leader). Nice wood but there should be engraving for that price.

I am a newbie when it comes to the older/higher graded 99's. I looked at a Savage 99K chambered for .303 this weekend. Asking price is $2K. I would rate the overall condition of the receiver at 80%, Barrel at 90% and wood at 90%. What is it worth? There is also a 99F with a case colored reciever. Factory letter says special order (but does not describe what the work order was). This is also a .303 manufactured in 1913 or 1914. What do you think?

Savage 99's, Fox doubles, and good bird dogs!

It's got about 30 minutes left and they are bidding like crazy. I know I am not the only one here watching this auction. I wonder if it will hit three grand? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
