As I was window shopping on GB, I noticed a link for the 11 most accurate factory rifles for 2007 and 2008. Of course I clicked on the link believing to find the T3 at the top of the heap, but it wasn't even mentioned. The article was written by Field and Stream. Perhaps, Tikka was not willing to pony up the bucks it took to get into the article. http://www.fieldandstream.com/photo...st-accurate-factory-rifles-2007-and-2008
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

Owners of Tikka rifles have reported groups as good if not better than most on that list.

A stainless T3 Lite in 6.5 Swede would be an awesome gun for hunting all over the Western U.S. I think that combo would take care of everything a guy would want to hunt in the rockies from Rockchucks and Coyotes to Mulies and Moose.
I have no need for another Tikka, but dang, a 6.5........

I've shot 3 different ones and noe made groups like that one did. (fishy) as for the Tikka. Well my 25/06 has made smaller 4 shot groups than that vangaurd sub-moa. Now yall have me thinking of a 6.5x55 hunter! Damn these people!

My X-Bolt shoots factory Fed. Fusions .5" @ 100yds. Same for handloads.
The X-Bolt design is very similar to the T3. I like them both. Both light, smooth and accurate IMO.
Like it or not they both represent a revolution in gun design. Definately not your grandpa's guns.

I almost should go back and get that T3 Lite SS in .270Win for $499 I saw today. For all their cosmetic shortcomings, they are fantastic shooters. For less than half the price of the much awaited 84L, there is a lot to like.

Yes, at that price, with a little more bargaining, you'd have a bargain for sure.

Yeah, but they are so boring BW!...grin I picked up a new stainless 06 on sale locally, slapped a Vari-X III 3.5-10x40 on it that I picked up here on the Campfire for $275 and it shoots CoreLoks (165's and 180's) sub MOA. Thats pretty boring.....

I have no need for another Tikka, but dang, a 6.5........ Might be the only one you need. I liked mine so much I bought another. The 6.5x55 in a T3 is like peanut butter and jelly. It's the best rifle/caliber combo to come down the pike for a long time!

Boy if Tikka chambered the T3 in a 7x57, that would be a real stimulus package!
