Wow. They just send out $1000s in optics and don't get payed first? I asked Alex{owner} the same question and he said he still thinks there are alot of good people out there and have helped by financing them. I guess a few idiots screwed him over. Feel bad for the dealer.

Wow, what a small world. I happen to know Cindy from about 10-12 years ago when I was guiding. She was an accountant for the ranch and married to the ranchs' taxidermist. She got divorced and married one of the guides who now runs the Ghost Ranch here in Texas.

Alex is a great guy - he has in the past shipped me 2 brand new S&B scopes before I even paid a penny. $3500 worth of glass!!
He has THE BEST prices on high end optics!!
He still believes the good in people, unfortunately from the "Wall Of Shame", people take advantage of this!!! Their day will come.

If this is a reasonable sample of contemporary business ethics in this country, we're in trouble.
I guess in the eyes of some people, I'm naive. I've always believed you should keep your word and pay your bills. Some people seem to feel that stiffing your creditors is just smart business.

I have been a customer of his for a long time probably when he first started out. There are a few more people out there that are buying stuff from him on my recommendation. To Alexs credit there are not many people on the "Wall of Shame" but it is very clear to me that these people are out and out scumbags . This is the way Businesses are supposed to be run but some that post here do not remember or were not around a few decades ago.

I still do business that way....no deposit or money upfront when job is done and customer is fully satisfied they pay....don't have a problem getting stiffed by home owners it's more of a problem with commercial jobs and contractors,and that isn't very common either.
