Also check MidwayUSA they sell Adams and Bennet and Shilen , Sharp Shooter Supply sells Douglas barrels, also check McGowan Barrels and the Shilen for Savage replacement and PacNor. I have 3-Shilen, 1-PacNor, 1-ER Shaw, 3-Adams and Bennet.
AB are considerably cheaper than the others and my 338-06 and 35 Whelan from them shoot very well. The 22.250Ackley is marginal.
Be aware that Savage replacement barrels come in two shank diameters. The AB barrels and Shilens from Midway were all small shank for the older gen. rifles, but that may have changed. Shilen's web page will give you the diameters. Have fun!

When you go to the Shaw sight and click on custom barels there is a popup add , close the add and under it you'll see "navigation" click on that and you'll see their services and price lists. I have one Shaw barrel for a Stevens and it works well. I put a A&B barrel on another Stevens, when we shortenned it to 20" the bore was a little off center but it still stays under 1" with a variaty of different loads, got lucky I think. At Savage Shooters http://www.savageshooters.com/ Northland has factory new barrels at a reasoable price. erich
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

My Shaw barrels have all been good shooters.
My only complaint was the 18 to 20 weeks turn around..

Did you get stainless or regular? I wonder if one takes longer than the other.

I think the vendor classifieds can be seen by everyone. The member classifieds are restricted to members only.
