Mine's cooking it HOT.
Take a coleman grill outside (or paper the walls around you stove) and put a cast iron fry pan with a metal lid on the burner and get her smoking hot.
Cut the stakes 1/2" or less, garlic, salt, and pepper them.. Drop a good tablespoon of crisco in the pan and throw them on, and cover them.
2 minutes side one, 1 minute side two.
No liver taste at all -
Remember hot pan, cold oil and the meat doesn't stick.
