This is a heck of a good price for a very fine binocular. If they were named Leica (and they are just as good as the Leicas of the same era) then they would be long gone.

Mule Deer,
When I bought these the dealer let me take the Leica 10x42 and the nikon,s out for the weekend. I went to my favorite elk glassing spot and gave both a workout. At the time they both cost the same so money wasn't the issue. I bought the Nikons because I thought they were brighter under low light conditions.
