Last week I decided (since it was nice weather) to paint my LV SF stock for my upcoming .243 AI build and I decided to go this route. I wanted something different....not necessarily functionable for real world hunting applications as far as the colors are concerned. Anyway here it is. Black, Grey, white. Did I do good or............

I like it, reminds me of the camo patterns the Navy used during WWI and WWII.

I like it, reminds me of the camo patterns the Navy used during WWI and WWII. I kinda had something like that in mind....I always did like those colors together.

I made stencils out of blue painters tape, cut slight curves in em and painted it in layers with grey first, then black lastly white.

Dude, that's a great idea with the blue tape. Did you find that when you peeled off the tape any of the paint came off with it?

Well not to be a butthead, I have to add my name to that column also.. but lets look on the positive side.. when you go to the range, there won't be another one like it.. if the rifle is ever stolen, it should be pretty easy to identify as yours, when found...( however with that stock.. it may prevent it from getting ripped off in the first place... )
