If you could only keep one of your rimfires, which would it be? MIne would be my Henry Golden Boy. BTW, I also own a Ruger 10/22 and a S&W 22 Sporter.

Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

M320 Winchester bolt action, 5 round magazine. Most accurate 22rf I've ever owned.
If three or more people think you're a dimwit, chances are at least one of them is right.

T Lee ... I had one of those for close to 30 years, then gave it away. It's still in the house, though. My oldest son is now enjoying that little sweetie. Much more fun to see the kids enjoying dad's favorite "things" than just entering them into a will, I figure. I'm old enough to remember shooting "ducks" with the gallery model (.22 short, carbine version) at carnivals and county fairs. Those were the days.

Browning BL22. The pefect rifle for hunting squirrels on a crisp October morning in Pennsylvania. Its light, handles well, and is just plain fun to shoot.
My 10/22 is a close second. It would be #1, but you can't hunt with a semi in PA.

------------------
Stush

This is probably a dumb question, but Loud Clouds post got me to thinking---always a tough job---whatever happened to all those shooting galleries that were at all the carnivals, fairs, etc. when I was a kid. All scrap metal, or does anyone know someone who has one in his barn that I might try to restore?

My Marlin 39AS. It puts Win P-P, CCI Mini Mags, RWS Sub-Sonic HP's, and CCI Stingers in the same group at 50 yds. The RWS ammo puts 5 in 5/8's of an inch. The Stingers do about 2.5 inches. All the rest do an inch, or less. E.

If it can only be one then an orginal Winchester 52 action, medium heavy 18" barrel and a nice fancy Walnut stock with a Shepherd .22 scope on top.....Bob

Probably my Marlin Model 989 autoloader. It's not my favorite nor is it my most accurate .22. However, it was the first gun I ever had so I guess nostalgia would dictate that to be the one I'd have to keep.

RJM:
I see that you are the wise owner of a Shepherd scope. What do you like most about it? Why did you buy it in the fist place?
BTW, I am also a proud owner of a Shepherd scope. I've got it mounted on my Sauer 200 (.308). It is a great scope. What I most love about it is the fact that you can zero it with just one shot!
Another feature that I love is the rangefinding circles. With the rifle zeroed, I can CONSISTENTLY hit targets all the way out to 500 yards.
Try doing that with any other scope. No need to gauge holdover any longer. People at the range who've never heard or seen a Shepherd scope tell me that the optics are bright, clear and absolutely first class.

I've also got a Win. 62A which I am very fond of. Also, have a Sako finnfire bolt gun. But if I could only have one, the 62A would last me the rest of my days..... good shootin, vbshootinrange.
