Has anybody tried these triggers? If you have do they compare well to Timney Triggers?

Thanks,

I have three of them and will use no other. All my factory triggers have now been replaced. I've used one Timney, installed another for a friend's son, now both have been switched.
I like the Spec-Tech,it fits, adjusts easy and STAYS set! I have one in a 6.5x55,7x64 and now my .458 Lott, wish they made one for the #1!! Good stuff.....rifle

Reed,

I have them in my Hawkeyes, a .375 Ruger African and a .300 RCM. Great triggers, but I have not tried a Timney in a Ruger so can't say. Timney does make good triggers, and I have them in a couple of custom hunting rifles.

I have a Timney on an old Ruger 77 that was my Dad's. It's a good trigger. The pain with them is sending them off for installation which I've generally done.

Thanks for the info on Spec-Tech. I think I'll give one a try.

The Mark II can be worked down to a really nice, light, clean, consistent pull. Easy to do, my .338 RSM started w/ a creepy 7# pull; now lets off at a crisp #3. Took me less than an hour, working slowly.
