I've tried this highly acclaimed regimen to get started for my NM elk hunt this September. It's a fairly solid, slowly incorporated regimen.

The older we get the more important it is to incorporate exercise into our daily routine, obviously. But, it is also necessary to achieve cardiovascular health and maintain cardio-vascular muscle mass, especialy at higher elevations.

If you're over 50, you might want to take this regimen a bit easy at first and then do more repetitions as you become more proficient and build stamina.

As always, consult your doctor before starting any exercise program! Here we go:

SCROLL DOWN.............

SCROLL UP..

And that's enough for the first day.Pat yourself on the back. Have a glass of wine. Get back at it tomorrow.

Did 4 reps, but now I'm out of wine. Can I use beer in a pinch?

Miller lite only, according to the advanced workout manual.

Sorry but I'm curling a Dark Side Vanilla Porter now. Miller lite? You don't really drink that stuff do ya?

Millers is good for Elk hunting. Drink a couple of six packs, climb a mountain to sweat it out and you can drive all the Elk to some other deserving hunter grin

Bob,
Great advice, but I'm a head of you.
I actually got in my pickup and went for a drive and saw an
elk.
I know I'm getting a head of myself as I don't even have
license yet.
Got any tips for getting in shape to pig hunt?

Sure do...just lessen the above workout by about 40%.

was gonna give you a script I had my doc buddy write for me one time

it would necessarily involve K, or one of her very good friends.

but I can see you're probably wiped out from your regimen

btw is it called the PX900000000000000000000000000?

Rock on, Bob! Or should I say "Roll on!" Amazing regimen, but what about a diet to go with that ball-bustin' exercise? Man cannot live on wine alone.......

I thought maybe it was going to involve a little cardio and lifting at the same time.

Just finished day 2 Mark and in spite of some minor muscle soreness from yesterday, I'm hanging in there. As a reward for 3 straight days of workout, I get to include an Arturo after the sweat down.

For workouts with such increasing intensity, rewards are the key to overall success.

After a few days to get the muscle memory going, try tackling the sniper rifle thread. I am up to "Two a Days" now. I do substitute coffee for the beer in the morning session. Just remember to ease into it or you might catch a cramp.
