I hope to be bringing some good Canadian beer with me.
I will also be trying for a blackbuck. I won't be able to take any meat home with me. I will take a bit for 'qing on the way back, but it will either be eaten there, or whomever would like some, can have at 'er!
Sure sounds like some really good eats coming up!

Yeah, we got some smaller pork steaks. We like our pigs to market a little heavier than your'n down thar  If I recall from my days as a pig farm manager in the late '80s, ours went 220, and 'mericans liked theirs at 200 or so. Yes/no? As for Bud--now we have the REAL DEAL! Least it has some punch to it--not tasting like slough water 'tis gonna be a time, alright! Later... ps... don't think ATF is gonna let me bring my Rob Arms XCR. Something about the "assault rifle act"? Sent them a note to make sure.

Setting aside night time lit hunting, are Bobcats traditionally early am and last hour pm hunts? Here, our guys always seem to shoot during those hours but my two friends on previousTexas hunts both killed theirs in the middle of the day.
If I kill a bobcat or a coyote...I'm in heaven and the rest will be a bonus or just time spent with new friends as only a trophy axis or black buck would tempt me outside of that.

During May with the ground and shrub cover in full force, we'd have a better chance at a cat at night...
Coyotes will be out, if there are any on the ranch, looking for fawns...
And of course the greys...

Going out this weekend to do a bit of shooting, now I am seriously considering spray painting some hog silhouettes on some of our leftover boxes from moving. I think that sounds good, I will bring you a cardboard box, then it's a sure shot. I will even paint a hog on the side. 44 long days to go, keep up the time keeping for us TM.

Well, I didn't draw elk or antelope this year, haven't done the deer apps yet. Hogs might be the only stuff I get to hunt this year besides the usual dove and such.
If no deer tags are forthcoming, I might have to concentrate on fall bear again.
The days are flying by here.
