Once it wasn't so bad since you could get lost in the sporting goods or electronics. Of course, your wife learns your not fully miserable so she puts an end to that. Now, you're stuck going thru the bath section looking for a friggin luffa and helping the wife see which loaf of bread has the most fiber.
I'm to the point wearing Stilettos and a miniskirt really wouldn't make me feel any less masculine.
When I see one of those threads, "the puzzification of America", I sadly nod my head knowing that's me.
...22 minutes and counting.

I probably shouldn't admit this, but I do most of the grocery shopping. Early on I found that it not only puts me in a favorable light, but I can pick out the things that I want to eat.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

I'm with you 5sdad. If I go with the wife it's "shopping" and she has to look at every damn thing in the store and wander every damn aisle. If I go to the store, I walk in, grab my schit, pay, and walk out.

I do whatever needs to be done. Laundry, running kids around, cooking, cleaning, whatever. I figure it's my responsibility too and it is. She works and I work. No fair thinking she needs to do more than me. You're home all day long, aren't ya? No real job? Friggin freeloader!

About 25 years ago, my wife went to 5 towns, countless stores, over 10 days, looking for shoes and didnt buy any...
Then about a month later, she got pissed because I went to one store (the closest one to where we lived that sold shoes) and was in and out in 10 minutes with a new pair of shoes.

yeah but.... walmart? Last statistic I saw, and it was a few years back, was Walmart now sells slightly over 27% of the groceries in this nation. Very likely a higher number now.
