Wifes Looking for a Nice Digital Set Up. Prefer a Nikon Or Canon. Extra Lens a Plus. Thanks.

I have a Nikon D70, a Digital SLR, with an 18-70 mm lens as well that will come on it. It is the Af-S Nikkor 18-70mm 1:3.5-4.5g ED, here is a link to one with a review.

Also: guidebook on usage (one from Magic Lantern Series and a DVD from QuickPro, a great DVD tutorial, as well as the owners manual.
-extra battery,
-charger for batteries,
-video cable for connecting camera to TV or something else, I have never used it
-usb to mini usb (for connecting camera directly to computer)
-Lens hood
-display cover (keeps the screen on the back covered and prevents scratching)
-I have a compact Flash card as well I will include, it is small in size (128 mb) holds about 139 pictures on the highest resolution.

I looked online for used prices, lowest I found was 489 at amazon for camera and lens, how about $450 for camera and accessories and $195 for the adapter, bringing the total to $645.
