I've got two of those. Bought the 7 mag in 1974 and it still shoots 1/2". Picked up a 300 Wby a few years ago that was like yours, 'mint' and it shoots 1/2 or better with factory ammo. In fact I shoot factory loads in both. One of the finest rifles ever made. The new 202s are nice but when it comes to workmanship the old Colt Sauers were very special. Deep dark bluing that's awesome and actually holds up in inclement weather.
Some folks are putting some great guns up for sale here today. Another one that you don't see many of.
