Hey guys: Need a little help here, can any of you tell me what number shell holder you need for a 38 spec. Herter's??Got an old press and don't know the number for the holder I need. Thank you ahead of time!

I know from experience that what Herters used to say about their shell holders didn't match reality. In the case of 338Win. Mag. I had to go to Mitchell S.D. and physically try several to find one that would hold the cases. Maybe their new stuff isn't "World Class" like their old stuff but may be better quality.

NP oldgunsmith I don't even own a Herters press I just enjoy helping people find info there looking for. I use a 20+ year old Lyman crusher single stage press to load everything I shoot.
