but like alcohol best used sparingly or in moderation. ymmv

I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.

I am definately a free speech guy, but for "political forums". That said, there are plenty of other forums for posters to throw up on and if someone isn't here to discuss huting/backpacking or something along those lines, they should be warned and if not complying banned.

Freedom of speech and drunken rants aren't the same thing. Walk down the street of any town or city drunk off your ass and cursing out the world and see how far your right to free speech gets you. The technical difference is that he can legally get drunk and disorderly from the privacy of his own home and share it with the rest of us in a public type forum. I have yet to use the ignore button, but apparently it is time.

UK, he's a maker. You can see some of his wares in the thread "stovejack install...sober". It's on the next page in this form.

He makes a attempt to knock of Kifaru tipis - copying them to the best of his abilities. And then comes one here and Kifaru.... knocking Patrick's product.
And in some twisted way($), some here embrace his business practices no matter what his drunken rants drum up.
He knocks a product he has never seen or used but done his best to copy.
You'd have my vote to put a end to the BS.
I'll take integrity any day.

I dont think his shelters are a copy of Kifaru nor Ti-Goat which was also targeted in the now infamous and from my perspective ridiculous drunken rant. His shelters look a bit more like a Mega Mid.

Woods, you have to be more specific when it comes to drunken rants. I don't think "the" applies at this point. wink

I agree with you that his stuff has more of that Megamid sharp corner, flat side thing going on but at this point, I could care less what he actually makes no matter how fantastically strong the stitching is.

I dunno...this is my first wyo experience and it's sure making me laugh.

I think he needs a grownup.
