Does anyone have any information about theH&R 301 Ultra Carbine? The only place I have been able to find anything is in some back issues of "Gun Digest" It says FN Mauser Supreme action, (how good is that ?), handcut checkering, and American walnut I am interested in date of manufacture. Did Douglas make all the barrels? Quality of workmanship? Any other info and where to go to find more? What do they compare to today? Thanx all.
