Well I could not sleep well last night and I got up and took a ride. I ended up at a Gun Shop just as they opened, after looking of the wares for an hour, plenty of ammo and 22 rim fire on the shelf and primers and powder. I spotted it, I looked at it and fiddled with it and remembered I had one once it got lost in a move in 68. So I bought it, and some other things to go along with it, Like ball bearings. Yep I gotten myself a Wrist Rocket Sling Shot. Spent the rest of the day shooting it too. Saturday I plan on going to the dump of my youth and see if I can shoot some rats its been a long time since I when on a rat safari. A simple thing I had forgotten how fun they are, and they have not changed a bit other than this one was 8 bucks and the one I gotten in 66 was a bit less that that. Oh well, I make more money now even unemployed that I did in 66. Gee's 44 years ago, and in my day we all had these things. Yep the older I get the more I am becoming the little boy I was!!! I sort of like that!!

Good for you. Slingshots and Crossman BB guns ruled my life in the 60's and 70's. Many a song bird paid the price........
Have a BLAST!!

Brings back the memories of harassing the red squirrels in the back yard with various slingshots. 'Never killed one, but sure made life miserable for a few of 'em. I ran out of decent rocks one day and actually hit one with an old sparkplug I flung at him with a Wham-O wrist rocket.

I got pretty good with golf balls lobbed out of a wrist rocket. The velocity wasn't the best, but recovery of the projectile was almost assured.
