I had an initial reply and it got zooked(my brainfartedness).

I drive a Canon S40 PowerShot and it keeps me very happy. I've sold ALL my 35mm equpiment and am happy in Digital Mode.

Point and shoot camera offerings are becoming less expensive, while offering more features. I'm in the groove that I'm HAPPY to accept new Digital offerings and do not lament 35mm shortcomings.

Digital is my venue of choice..............

NOW,that I have command,here's digital manipulations.......

Here's an image shot via S40 and compressed to fit this stage.

Nowwwww....here's the image cropped a bit and presented differently via digital manipulation.

While I cain't obscure my less than figurine mug,I can offer just comparison values,as per relative pixel demonstration.

Long story short,I ain't purty, but do tote enough ugly to make just comparisons.......................

Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

Sonnie,

I can't know the difference in prefix designators.

My suggestion would be to yield as much optical zoom and digital pixels as possible, within the confines you deem appropriate.

All I know,is the S40 kicks ass and I LOVE it..........................

Stick,

Seeing the pictures, the one of you and the dead deer, and then a close up of just you, I just have to ask, what caused that poor deer to fall over dead, "the pink rifle / cartiadge combo, or seeing that grin of yours ???"

Nice camera work ... and all the best.

On another note ... you settled on what you want to test the new .224 70g TSX in yet, or still a pondering ????????????????

Fast twist 22-250 AI sounds good to me

What! Joel left?

Heck, I thought we were on day 10 of a drinking binge and he went for more beer and smokes...

No wonder it's taking him so long. I gotta sober up...

Didn't I go to work today?....

Where's my Crown?...
