Does anyone know how to go about putting sling swivels on a synthetic stock? I've got a Savage 22 that doesnt have swivel studs and I want to put them on it. How would I go about it?

I'd like to know as well,
I will need to put an extra stud on the next rifle I'm planning to buy. Come to think of it, Harris( the guys that make Bipods)
make a bunch of adapter studs. look for their #2, #2a or #2r.
All you would have to do is drill a hole where you want the stud then glue/epoxy/acraglass the base inplace and you are done.

I would remove the barreled action and butt plate so you can see where the studs would come through the stock. You may have a reinforced area just for studs, if not I would create a place by inletting a piece of wood large enough to support the stud and bed it in place. Once that was cured, I would drill into those areas and install the studs as you would on a wooden stock.Rick.
