I think Sell used a .250-3000 Winchester 54, pehaps a factory heavy barrel, for crow shooting. Rifle came up for sale a couple of years ago and regrettably I did not try to buy it.

Didnt some special order Model 54s in .25-35 make it
out of the factory?

Jericho, 54s came from the factory in .30-30, fairly common, so a .25-35 would have been easy. Maybe two-three years ago G&H down in NJ had a G&H full custom 54 in .25-35, $2500, don't recall if barrel was Winchester or custom.
