i read about a bolt release adapted to the action screw so the screw would not have to be removed to get the bolt out. i had a computer problem and lost the book mark. does anyone have information on this item.
thanks,
max

Try this:

http://www.sav10ml.com/pages/after6.htm .

Ya gotta go down to the third paragraph before he describes the modification you mention. He even supplies pictures! One thing, if you do yours, now ya gotta do mine for me too! Well, maybe not . Hope this helps.

We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

rickyd,
i considered that modification. i did that to my austin & halleck as it only is attached to the stock with one screw. i read something on one of the boards and lost it. the modification allowed the bolt to be removed without having tool handy. thanks, max
