bottom line is you don't engage in behavior that could put your family in danger whether its from the police or other bad guys. you just don't do that

Are you mad because a raid like this occurred or because a dog was shot?

I don't know, and you don't know, what if anything these folks were actually guilty of. They are presumed innocent of any crime until proven guilty in a court of law. This could just as easily have been your house. All that needs to happen is some druggie gives your address as the place he bought his weed and BINGO, your door is busted in, your dogs are shot, and your family is brutalized by a squad of storm troopers. And according to the modern pattern (illustrated here), there is virtually no option to avoid that result by peacefully cooperating with the authorities. No longer possible, as we see here.

the guy in the video was more upset about his dog getting shot than he was about the safety of his kids.i didn't hear tell the officer to be careful he had small children in the house. screw the dogs. I'd be yelling at them to watch out for my children especially with them shooting

I'm sure there is much more to this story than we know. BTW, the cops didn't kill those dogs, the dumb ass owner who was into drugs did.

And as far as bashing swat teams... how many of you would like to serve search warrants without any body armor or with just a partner and a pistol?

So dumbass... you think that cops should risk busting into houses without any body armor? Are you really that stupid?

Its just the stupid way they did it, could have let the fellow go to work and the kid go to school. If any civilian had placed a seven year old in that level of danger there would be hell to pay.

Did the guy have drugs? possibly, but of course had the cops been at the wrong address and one of us lived there, that same police action would have been justified by the cache of weapons and ammunition they would have discovered.

Somebody should email this to the "storm troopers" in your area.. Who then will protect you when a black dude drives by in a truck?

A couple of weeks ago, two Cobb County, GA Swat team officers were out drinking and riding in a boat. The boat hit a marker and one of the officers was thrown out and drowned.

The driver of the boat waited 1.5 hours before placing a 911 call, and giving false information. He was later arrested and taken to jail.

I don't know how to post a link, but there were several articles about it in the Marietta Daily Journal.

All they have on him is a misdemeanor pot charge. Are you really stupid enough to condone this kind of violence for misdemeanors?

You are speculating, just like 90% of the people on this thread.

They had a search warrant right? Doesn't a judge have to sign off on that? Much more to the story than the You Tube video shows.

Had that house been full of illegals pimping out 12 year old white girls, then you guys would be cheering on the swat.

That's what they caught him with... We don't know the whole story. For all we know that house could have been full of drugs 24 hours earlier.

Then they would be doing what they were commissioned for. Protecting children and arresting felons.

Not barging into a families home and shooting the family pets, endangering the lives of children all for what may or may not have been misdemeanor possesion...at WORST.
