My 15 yr old son came up with the best response for situitions like this "Nod, smile and agree" sometimes saying nothing is the best answer.

To Ricky's question the obvious answer is when she stops one upping herself(grin) As far as the easy route and agreeing I'm not one for that at although I am working on being more gentle. My standard reply to my wife when she questions my reasoning as applied to her thinking is that I've been cursed with knowing and aptly named.

Hmmm I think the man has a valid point.. He should have offered to redo the book case by genra or type.. "On a trail basis" ..lol or another option would be to keep HIS books in another bookcase sorted his way.

I couldn't care less how the books are arranged. My wife doesn't either, which is why we can't find a book. At least if they were based on height, we could figure it out sooner or later.
