here are a couple of photos of michigan deer camps and in most all of the photos there is at least one savage but was thinking if most are 250 s or 300 i have about 50 old photos from various camps in the northern lower to the great U.P.of michigan. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The one with the scope on it, if you look closely at the end of the forearm kinda looks more like an 1895 the wat the schnobel kinda comes off at a 45 degree angle. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Look at the second pic. The guy is holding his gun with finger in the trigger loop. Pointing dangerously close to the other guy's head. I hope it's not loaded!!!

I love those old hunting pics, especially when you can see the different types of guns they were using. That old coot with the barrel pointing at his head probably ain't worried a bit. I'll bet every gun in camp has one in the chamber.

I wonder if the guy with the model 8 remington is the spray and pray shooter of the bunch <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
