I need a firing pin for a S&W Safety Hammerless in .32 S&W. Numrich said they do not know when they may be getting some more.

Try asking this question in the Antiques Forum on smith hyphen wessonforum dot com. There's a wealth of Smith & Wesson knowledge on that forum, fully comparable to the hunting rifle information available on this site.
Also check books by David Chicoine, a gunsmith who specializes in 19th Century Smith & Wessons, among other things. Chicoine has his own web site, though I don't know its URL.
