Would you know what that pattern weighs in the Edge configuration?

Give us the details on the stock! How does it balance with the featherweight barrel? Weight? I've got the same pattern coming for a 6.5x55 that I am very excited about getting.

Now Dober, you know a .270 will only fill one ark! Vey nice rifle, and I'm not a Winnie guy. Unless it has a lever. R.

Dober Looking forward to it. I also have a significant stash of old school Bitterroot bullets that I am interested in working up some loads with.

Can't be a Campfire rifle- no Talleys! Great looking rig. Are those Conetrol or S&K mounts?

They look good. I have used Conetrols, but never S&K. I wonder if the S&K rings will fit the Conetrol bases? I did not like the 3 pc rings and took them off.

Wood is for show and African walnut is for go... My opinion, aside from a fine Mauser in the same dress you've just got the best set up one could think up (and be able to afford..grin). Dober

You put that rifle back together with it's rightful stock right now! Don't make me come out there to.....wherever you are! But seriously, what on earth would make you want to take apart that beautiful piece of gunmaker's art and put it in a plastic "stock?" I just do not understand it at all.
Our God reigns. Harrumph!!! I often use quick reply. My posts are not directed toward any specific person unless I mention them by name.
