Who is the good guy in this race? Either of them a reliable conservative or Libertarian?

Well, Ms Lincoln could have stopped health care but she opted to let it keep going. She also voted for the big bailout without reading it. They put her on the Agriculture committee to try to save her job. I am saddened that she did not lose outright but maybe the runoff will get her. Or... Maybe November will get her. All is not lost yet. miles

neither of the dhimms are worth a warm bucket of spit, but if Lincoln is not 'left' enough, God knows what her opponent is like.

Halter has not done much in Arkansas politics except champion and get the lottery. Lots of people for it and lots against it. I don't care either way. If a person wants to put a dollar down, go ahead, just don't ask for a handout a little while later. Bill Clinton endorsed Ms Blanche if that tells you anything. miles

both lincoln and halter are libs (halter said earlier he too would have voted for obamacare). regardless of which dem gets the nod after the run-off, he/she will face a repub named bozeman. conventional wisdom sees a tight, tough race for the overall winner in nov.

I hope November does the Dem's in. This election does show some climate change. Any other year the Dem. imcumbent would have had a cake walk. miles

Lincoln and Halter are both village idiots. Halter was a big supporter of getting the Lottery into Arkansas under the pretense that it would create a bunch of scholarship money for college students. Yeah, that will work. Lincoln tries to come off as a "down home" farmer's daughter, but she is just another lib in moderate clothing. Boozman won the Republican primary with over 50% (just) of the vote in an eight person primary. While I don't agree with Mr Boozman at all times he is the best of the Senate candidates in Arkansas by far. The unfortunate thing about Boozman winning his primary is that he will be vacating the District 3 House seat to move to the bid for Lincoln's Senate seat. But, the potential Republican candidate I will support would be a decent replacement (nope, I ain't going to say who I support, but I could be satisfied with several of the Rs). All in all, I was pleased with the results of the voting in my little corner of Arkansas yesterday, well, except for the County Sheriff job anyhow . . .
