I'm a sucker for .25-20's.
This past weekend I was visiting my uncle and we pulled out a few guns. One a very very nice 1894 Octagon Barreled 25-20 that was purchased new by my grandfathers uncle in/around 1908.
Most of the bluing is gone, but the woods and metal is in pristine condition.
I was told that someday it might be mine. I'll have to keep a friendly reminder in his head every couple years as I'd love to have it.
