I was thinking of ordering a Tactical Solution 10/22 receiver with bolt from Midway and they have it priced for 399.00 . I went to TS Website to read about it and the Retail price for the receiver on their Website was 330.00. I emailed Mr Potterfield and ask him why his company has it priced 69.00 over the retail price. It has been going on two days and no reply, he usually answers email in 24 hours or the next day. Have you noticed Midway seem to be pricing higher these days than before. Maybe he has no good answer and is ignoring my email.

Couldn't agree more about the pricing at Midway.
Even the dealer price at Midway is $335.
That actually kinda surprised me because usually dealer pricing isn't even that much of a discount.

Maybe they need the cash flow to pay the computer wizards they hired. Geeks that can screw up a website that bad don't work cheap.

Havn't bought anything in several years from Midway just for this reason along with their asinine shipping rates. I doubt you will get a reply from Larry!

They must be taking their cues from the airline industry.. Trying to nickel and dime thier customers untill they find alternative ways of solving thier problems (purchasing)

I used to have a dealership with Midway and they still didn't offer many bargains even at dealer cost.

I too have given up on Potterfield and business. I can get the same products either locally at a much better price or from others with much better shipping costs.

I like Midsouth and Powder Valley... the selection is not as large as Midway but the prices seem lower and they ship fast.
Please don't feed the trolls!

I just order $300.00 worth of stuff from them because they were the only ones who had what I wanted. That seems to be a common occurrence.
Pricing was in line pretty much with everyone else.
And yes I do like Powder Valley.

I ended up having to purchase from a competitor because even after paying their price plus shipping I ended up saving $26 for exactly the same product. I called Midway to give them a chance to offer it for the same price and they denied me. I did not feel comfortable making the purchase from this other company since I had never dealt with them and my worries were unfounded. I now will buy all my bullets from them as well.

I guess it's like anything/anywhere else.. You just have to know prices and what you'll pay.
FWIW, I bought two PTG chamber reamers from Midway when they were on clearance and paid about $62 ea.. Those were true deals..

I always compare Midway and Cabelas. Usually Cabelas wins, especially after tacking on their frequent deals and considering the points I get on their card.
Of course Cabelas doesn't carry a lot of the more esoteric stuff.

I live in the KS woods. My closest BPS, Cabela's, or Academy is 65mi. I bargain shop on the net, so I don't always use Midway. But I can order anything from Midway this AM and it will arrive to me tomorrow PM. I can remember a time when there was no Midway or Brownells.
