Best pinto I've ever seen.
Camp is where you make it.

maverick/schmaverick....... A good ol' Pinto, with a roof rack (and better gas mileage) beats a major mustang as a hunting' buggy...... As far as the Pinto is concerned I've always said that Ralph Nader went after the wrong car. It should have been a Pinto instead of the Caviar as the Pinto so lite in the rear end if you didn't watch it it would try and swap ends on you.

oh yeah...
I'd sure like to find another one... something about your "first car" ya know?
I hope I never see another one of my first cars.... 1981 AMC Concord wagon. POS. Had to add oil and check the gas at every gas station. She burned a quart every 40 miles. It had 287,000 miles when I blew it up. I couldn't agree with you more, Tzone. My first car was a '79 Chevette 4dr. and like your Concord, it used more oil than gas. I used to keep all the oil from changes my Dad did on our other vehicles and dump it in that car. I didn't like that car much, but I do have some good memories of things that happened in it.
