I am still trying to find the right ammo for my Buckmark.

I have not been able to find the Match CCI.

Today I shot three different ammos.

Remington Viper. There were 4 misfires. Three of those did go bang on second attempt.

Wolf, cant remember type/model. This stuff was greasy. In TEN rounds, four would not eject. Not even leave the chamber. Did not try more.

Federal Game Shok. This seemed to do better than anything I i can remember. They all went bang. However, of 100, 4 failed to eject.

Could it be me that is the problem? I have heard about not holding the pistol correctly somehow???

Could it be the pistol?

Does it need more shooting? More cleaning? Different ammo?

What I have yet to shoot that I know of is the better CCI.

My friend has also been having some "issues" but recently bought some of the Federal Auto-Match in I believe 350 round bulk boxes at Walmart...he said it has run perfect so far... Boxes are Black and white I believe.

22lr pistols are picky with ammo, just keep shooting until you find a load that it likes, then buy as much of that load as you can--check the lot numbers on the bricks and try to get as many from the same lot as possible.

Buckmarks ammo of choice, bulk Winchester Dynapoints or Remington Golden Bullets, cycle fine, accurate, and few FTF's.

The CCI Mini Mags ought to run well through your Buckmark. My son has one that really likes the CCI MMs and Win. Dynapoints.

What's the history of the pistol - new, used, very used?

I bought the pistol used at a gunshow a couple of months ago. It looked new, felt new. I have fed a few hundred rounds through it of different brands. It worked best on CCI Mini Mags HP (I Think) after I cleaned it a few hundred rounds ago. Now its cranky, thats why I'm looking for "better" ammo.

I think it should run alot better than that. While it may not shoot as accurately with some of that ammo, it ought to eject it when fired.
I've had too many failures to fire with Remington cheap ammo. I like Federal cheap stuff much better.
My favorites in the .22 LR stuff has always been CCI, Federal and the Winchester PP's. E

I have to second that as my experience as well. CCI Velocitors work well in mine also.

Don't have a Buckmark, but all my .22 autos seem to like the Federal 550 bulk stuff better than anything else. Are you keeping it lubed? Maybe it likes to run wet??

Buckmarks are usually consistent functioning pistols. If you disassembled to clean (remove the top, slide, and internals) verify assembled correctly.

Verify the barrel screw is tight.

I've got a buckmark, it eats this stuff up. Everything else has problems. Good luck and be safe Rick

The Browning is a wonderful gun, it is the ammo which is junk today.
I use CCI mini mag hollow points and they seem to be the best.
Most bulk .22's all sound different and have different recoil with many failures to even fire. The speed they make them at today must be the reason.

Today I Shot three more ammos:

Rem Golden Bullet
100 Rounds
6 Misfires
1 Feed Failure

Stinger CCI
150 Rds
2 Misfires
0 Feed Failure
I did notice this bullet was sluggish to Chamber. I had to push the first round of every clip.

Federal Game Shock
100 rds
3 Misfires
0 Fail to Feed
2 Fail to Extract

I am going to stick with the CCI Stinger for now.

Stinger's could prove to be a little rough on your Buckmark, think I would stick with Mini-Mags.

Why are the Stingers "rough".

I noticed they did not feed the first round smooth.

Seemed to be more Flash too.
