Hi all looking for load data for 303 calibre using 215gr round nose heads the powder that i have at the moment is VIT N140 and H4895, H4831 and H380 I cannot fond any data for 215gr only 180 its for target shooting only, before anyone asks why such a large bullet size for paper?, the rifle is a 1902 Long Lee Enfield which doesnt like normal 303 ammunition. any help appreciated, douglass

My usual load for a .303" CLLE is 215gr round nose FMJ with 40gr of H380.
When tested in a SMLE this recorded an average MV of 2125fps and an average chamber presure of 35,290psi (using PressureTrace).
Capable of half inch groups at 50m, on a good day. Regards, John

As stated in my PM, use caution,no need to push this. I have found cast bullet books to be very helpful,in fact bought a 215 RN mould. I use 4198 and 5744 with success.
