I have three rifles now finished in Cerakote and have been very happy with the quality and durability of the finish. I can't speak to how it compares to Duracote though. Cerakote does seem show wear on the sharp edges sooner than other areas which I suspect would be true of other coatings also. Charley (aka CAS) at CS Sports has done all of mine and I would recommend him if you go the Cerakote route.
