Years ago I had a pair of 10x40 Zeiss Classics but the eye relief was not adequate for me since I wear glasses. I sold them.
What are some of the better binoculars out there for eyeglass wearers?? Help, Thanks, Pat

I think the pentax dcf SP's are made for people who wear classes, they have 22mm of eyerelief I don't know of any company that makes binocs with that much eyerelief. Other brands may be slightly better but for us people who wear glasses the only thing I have seen that beats the pentax by any margin worth worrying about is the swaro EL"S. Another brand I liked pretty well is Minox.

I use the discontinued Pentax DCF WP 8x42, wear glasses all the time and they are outstanding.

I wear glasses and have found that about any pair with at least 19MM eye relief will work great.

I wear glasses and have found the Swarovski EL's to be the best I've ever looked through. I also like the Leica Ultra-Vids but have not yet tried the new Zeiss FL's. With the cups rolled down I still occasionally use my Zeiss Classics but mainly keep them as a backup pair........DJ

Pentax work for me. I have the DCF WP in 8x42 and the 22mm eye relief is plenty. I wear contacts or glasses and glasses always are tough with binoculars, but when I checked field of vision with the Pentax using cups up with no glasses, and cups down with glasses, I actually had a larger field of view with glasses on. That is good eye relief! TC1 probably nailed it with advice to go 19mm or larger relief.

Its probably different for everyone but I seem to need binoculars with at least 18mm of eye relief when wearing glasses. My Eagle Optics Ranger Platinum Class are listed at 20mm. Most literature states a minimum of 16mm is needed for eyeglass wearers.
