That's Interesting,
But like any mfg there is never going to be a direct cut off on things like this unless it's a safety issue. The last new one I have a record of is a 1-V in 22-250 that was shipped direct to me from the factory, it was # 134-26161 and was shipped 9/2009, it has a very gray spacer. So I would say that sometime in 2009 Ruger started using the gray spacers on # 1's. Anyone have a number higher than 134-26161 that does not have the gray spacer, or one with a gray spacer shipped before 5/2009, the first one I noticed on a # 1 was 5/2009.
