I'm just guessing, by I'll bet most celebutards are recruited by those groups, knowing they can pitch some bogus "facts" and a heaping dose of emotional appeal, which will all be absorbed w/o any critical thinking. I really doubt any of Hollyweird's elite even knew we had woofs in the lower 48 before an activist told 'em.
Why celebrities get even a second glance, not to mention a public podium is beyond me. The only thing they excel at is pretending to be someone else-----------and memorizing the words and thoughts of others.
