For those of you that wear sunglasses while hunting, which make and model of sunglasses do you recommended for early season and late season hunting?

Not really for hunting specifically, but just in general...for budget concerns, the Solar Bat's are pretty good for the dollar. I found some on sale at Wal Mart for $7. If money is not an object, Ray Ban's are nice.

When/if I need s'glasses I'm wearing Costa Del Mars, but for shooting sports since the lenses in mine are glass. They make all sorts of diff ones, but I'm partial to a wrap around style w/ polarized lenses.

I am looking at something that will protect the eyes from the wind, sand and the like. But, also from being snowblind and definitely need polarized lenses!

lots of good glasses. the main thing is fit. i love costa's construction and lenses, but they don't make a frame that i like, and that fits.
typically, if you have a large melon, you'll like costa's. if not, you may like an oakley frame better. the other brands mentioned are good too, but it's all about what fits you best.

I get whatever is cheap, non-reflective, and polarized.
I'm too rough on glasses to spend more than a couple bucks on them...

Ebay has lots of el-cheep-o's. You can buy them by the case so you dont have to worry about loosing them.
I did once have a pair of genuine "Oakies" bought them from a guy in the parking lot at Dover International Speedway for $5. Best pair of shades I ever had.

I'm too rough on glasses to spend more than a couple bucks on them... My eyes are too important, and too sensitive to sun, to scrimp on sunglasses. I'll look for a sale, but at least the sale is on good glasses. I've been known to wear quite a variety, but all are quality. Bolle, Revo, Oakley, Ray-Ban. I long ago gave up on the $5 flea market specials. I don't wear prescription glasses, but my eyes just can't take cheap sunglasses. A case and a little care, and my glasses last a long time.

I have bought a lot of the high end glasses over the years and end up sitting on them or leaving them some place. Now I buy the polarized glasses Walmart sells in the fishing department. They run about $5.00 a pair. They stay on my head even in the boat on a windy day and work out well for skiing also. I uusally buy several when I see them. No distortion and I can get them with bronze colred lenses. They are walmart house brand -- Renegade? Rondezvous? Retrograde or someting like that.

I love my Oakley's. They are tough (frames and lenses) and they make my eyes feel good. Sounds odd to say but compared to others my eyes don't strain or get sore from them. They fit me well as I don't have a "big melon" hat size 7 1/8. If your looking for something that meets those specs you listed and is tough check with some folks that are in the Military overseas. Not sure what they are using now but they would be better versed on what meets tough specs and holds up through the daily grind.
Keep your powder dry and stay frosty my friends.
