We don't know if it was D&T'ed. The photographer could have merely set the scope and rings on top of the receiver for the shot. Of course, back then who cared about d&t'ing a "pre-mil" receiver.

I noticed around the corner where the LBC is stamped, right side, there is a triangle w/a inscription on it. Never seen this before. Anyone know ??? 99 LL

Its just part of the engraving,pretty sure i have seen one like it before.

Have seen an early K with jeweled bolt too. Looked factory to me. I believe it was an option.
