I sold this gun to a guy at work 15 yrs ago,and the other day asked him if he still had it.He said yes,and wanted to know if I wanted it back? I asked him what he wanted for it and he told me $160(what I had sold it to him way back when). Gonna pick it up this weekend. It was like new then, and he said he shot one cylinder of ammo out of it,then put it up.I'm looking forward to this weekend, always like these old breaktop 22s.

savage addict:
Most of us on the Campfire bitterly regret the sale of at least one firearm and yearn for our own personal version of your good fortune. Rejoice and be thankful!
Thanks for the encouraging news that sometimes good things happen!

Congrats Savage Addict! (and for having such a good friend or aquaintence) Well said, nice post Twenty Two. Any chance of seeing some pics of the top-break 9-shooter?

Them old H&R's are way underrated, good shooters IMHO.

Several years ago, I bought a 999 that was mint with the box and paperwork. I had wanted one for years. When I showed it to a friend, he just had to have it and made me an offer too good to pass up. I wish I had that fine old top break H&R revolver back. I guess we have all done it at least once.

I know where a NIB 676 made in 1976 is at and it has the box that looks like it's new and it has the WMR cylinder and is a case harden model. The asking price is $350 and the take CC w/o extra charge.
Here is the shop number 573-776-1486, shop is called Rocky Top Guns.
