I have read many different opinions on breaking in a new rifle barrel. What I have done in the past is to just shoot two or three shots and then run a bore snake thru the barrel. I would keep repeating that process throughout the first box of bullets. It seemed to have worked well as all of my rifles shoot sub MOA. I just bought a new Tikka T3 and I though I'd get some other ideas on this issue before I started shooting it. Any feedback?

I agree with the Pac-Nor process except for the J-B, where I agree with Hart, and with Shilen on the issue of "too clean". This just from my experience and what works for me. Blaine------thanks for the reading. I do believe there are some differences to consider from each barrel manufacturer. The good part is you have to go shoot to find out how any barrel will react.
