I'm new to the forum, and so far I've and been impressed with the experience and knowledge of many members. I'm asking for some informed opinions on my upcoming choice of optics
I'm building my first AR15. It has a CMMG lower and a Stag Arms 5H upper. Right now I'm deciding what optic to put on the rifle. I am leaning towards a Leupold Mark 4 1-3X 14mm CQ/T scope. I have a friend who owns one and has let me take some shots with his AR and I liked the scope a lot.
What do you guys think? Any experience with the CQ/T or suggestions for other options.
Thanks,
Mike

I asked the same question and it seemed those that replied didn't think much of it. That being said I got a great deal on one and quite like it. Very well made. It is a little heavy and the eye relief is a little short but for an ar15 and the type of shooting I do it works great. Dale

Dale,
Thanks for your input, I appreciate it very much. I've tried a variety of red dot sights and I while the CQ/T has some drawbacks I prefer it over sights such as the Aimpoint.
Have a great Independence Day.
