I have a Tikka t3 stainless 7mm08 I'll be taking to the range for sigthing in This Is my first stainless rifle. Do the barrels heat up any quickier with the stainless? How much time between 3 shots? Thanx DWG

Nothing special about it, shoot three shots then let it cool. It'll take however long it takes.

Just break it in gently. There are pantyloads of threads on here about breaking in a barrel. Take your time and don't get it scorching hot. You need to clean it frequently the first 25 or so shots. No different than any other barrel steel.

As Pac Nor says on their web site and instructions, don't shoot the barrel hot enough to brand cattle....
I'd rather be a free man in my grave, than living as a puppet or a slave....

Main difference you'll find is that some stainless pick up less fouling, easier to clean. Just let it cool so you don't erode the throat from the get go
