I have 4 daughters and no sons. Only one of my girls really takes any interest in what goes on in my shop. She likes hanging out and just naturally started getting involved in some reloading. (Sorry for the poor quality pics, I took them with my iPhone).

I make her hold the bullet herself, because if I hold it, it's a good way for me to lose a finger:

And back up:

And that's all there is to it. Here's her "game face"

But this is how she really feels about it:

Outstanding! I can't wait until my grandkids are old enough for me to be able to do the same with them.

Thanks for the chance to smile tonight. smile

Those tiny little fingers would be great for seating .17s...

That is quite possibly the cutest thing posted on the Campfire in some time.

Brian.

Outstanding. She looks like mighty intelligent, and maybe at times very intense. Pretty little lady, too. You must be most proud.

Great pictures Wade ... especially that last grin!

Cherish those moments (I know you do) because they do seem to grow up way too quickly. All of our kids helped me reload, but I don't think I have a single picture to prove it ... plenty of range photos of 'em shooting though.

Funshooter,

She's still too small. Likely, next spring I will acquire and cut down a 10-22 stock for her, and we'll see what she thinks of blasting cans and spinner targets. I tried it with my oldest and you could just instantly tell that there was no *spark* with her. We got done and she said it was fun, but then started talking about other things--there was no "when can we do that again" talk at all.

My second oldest daughter has some special needs and she won't be handling firearms for a long time, if ever.

So, most of my hopes on pinned on this one. If she likes it, great. If not, I won't push it on her. So, I'll just have to wait and see...

Always good to see kids and dads working together - thanks.
