BMT the fridge girl on your avatar inspired this series... kind of girl next doorish but more hot girl in your kitchen... Some of your recent posts are good but from the pictures you've posted you live with someone that's better than some of the skank fu you appear to lust after. True words doubletap, Skanks are fun to look at but Mrs Podunk keeps the house clean, dinner ready ( still no Paula Dean but she tries) and the dogs taken care of so I cant complain. Skanks are merely entertaining to view and comment on.

Up a bit early with the hay fever today...gotta get wired up on coffee and go on a full day dog training consult over in Missoula...trying to get a Diabetic Alert Service Dog lined out today...gonna be a long day..

Just curious. fish head Fish thats a dog I'm consulting on the training of, what his job will be is to alert his handler to oncoming low blood sugar episodes, so she can glucose up before it happens... Its an olfaction based training, and actually pretty feasible to do if you know whats going on with the diabetes... Ingwe

My moms an insulin dependent diabetic. been that way since she was 11. She had an old male bulldog she kept inside and he was as good as a glucose monitor.

I can just look at her and tell if its low or high, but Im sure that youre right about the dogs perceiving it in an olfactory sense.

Since low blood sugar is often accompanied by disorientation,I train them to be insistent, and get the victims attention...by licking the face.Since the odor initially originates in the breath, this is kind of a natural place/thing for them to do..

They are extremely disoriented and appear drunken in my experience when the blood sugar is low. Licking the face would surely be beneficial. You should train them to go to thee fridge and fetch OJ Lows are alot worse than highs with my mom, she can get so bad its like a clip from the exorcist. Plug nose pour OJ down the hatch and hold it shut til they swallow is the only option when shes that bad.
