thinking about taking advantage of Doug's sale. Anyone have experience on these scopes. How are they in low light, clarity and brightness? Will be used for deer hunting. Purchased binos from Doug in the past so I know they are great to deal with.

Minox. I just got one of Doug's open box units. Glass and eye relief like a Conquest, ocular size like a Leupold. I shot mine to 500 yards Sunday and it tracked like a champ.

German vs Chinese.

No personal experience, but you should note that the Minox has a smaller field of view than the Viper by a few feet (35.5' vs 31.5' at 3x), which may or may not be important to you. Ilya Koshkin, who posts here, has a review of the Minox 3-9x on his website, compared with the equivalent Zeiss Conquest and Meopta MeoPro:

thanks for the input. I will check out Koshin's review. That was another question i had.. how do they compare to the conquest, monarch and vx-III.

I agree tx I didn't think the viper line was chinese but wasn't 100% sure.

Picked up a Zeiss Conquest in the classifieds. Another scope I been wanting to try. I guess it will be a little longer before I can try the Minox. Thanks for the input.

Nice grab, you won't be dissapointed.
